CMC is working as Independent Engineer for the projects and during Construction Phase – Independently reviewing, monitoring and approving activities associated with the Design, Construction, of the Project facilities to ensure compliance by the Concessionaire with the DPR/Project and concession agreement , reporting to the parties on the various physical, technical and financial aspects of the project based on inspections, site visits and quality assurance tests ,technical Audit , assisting the parties in arriving at an amicable settlement in case of disputes, reviewing matters related to the safety and traffic management measures adopted by the Concessionaire of the Project. During Operation and Maintenance Phase reviewing work plan and schedules of various operations and maintenance activities , Review Operation and Maintenance manual prepared by the Concessionaire, Review the performance of Operation and Maintenance (O & M) activities including equipment, service, traffic operation and safety, toll plazas and fees collection system, landscaping, environmental issues and wayside amenities, To mediate and assist in resolving disputes between Client and Concessionaire during O & M stage.
